About the Author...

A graduate of Syracuse University, Michael Martineau began his show business career as a talent agent in 1964. Coincidentally thrust into the gold rush of superstars, rock festivals and global tours, Martineau worked on the careers of recording artists like: Herman's Hermits, The Animals and The Hollies. Later, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, Cat Stevens, Led Zeppelin, Emerson, Lake& Palmer, Yes, The Who, Neil Young and The Eagles, among many others.

In 1975, Martineau became personally involved in the skyrocketing successes of Earth, Wind & Fire and Lionel Richie, prompting him to open his own talent agency with offices in New York and Los Angeles. In addition to receiving dozens of gold and platinum record awards for his efforts Martineau represented two TONY AWARD, winning productions, won by his client Diana Ross for her Broadway Palace Theater performance, Diana , and by Julie Harris, for her starring role in The Belle Of Amherst. He also represented the touring companies of National Lampoon, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Star Trek, starring William Shatner and Clarence Darrow, with Henry Fonda.

Martineau's prior film experience includes involvement in the production aspects of several music films, among them, Sergeant Pepper, Tommy, Thank God It's Friday, and Saturday Night Fever.

Martineau also worked on the successful packaging and sale of two WILLIAM GOLDMAN screenplays: Year Of The Comet, for Castlerock Films, starring PENELOPE ANNE MILLER and TED DALEY, directed by PETER YATES, which was produced and released. The other Goldman property is Sea Kings, an Executive Producer deal optioned by Universal Pictures. It is to star SEAN CONNERY, which is currently on hold.

Most recently, Martineau has created and fully developed five original screenplays. The first an Adventure/Fantasy/Love Story titled ,Occam's Razor, is slated for production soon.

Kim Dawson

SkyDog Productions is a multi-purpose film, television, and multi-media production company owned and operated by Kim Dawson. SkyDog, has been based at Universal Studios and Disney/MGM Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida since 1988. SkyDog engages in a wide range of activities from providing complete production services, to product development, to joint ventures and co-productions.

Kim Dawson produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1, 11, & III with Golden Harvest Films, distributed by New Line Cinema. the most successful independently produced films in box office history. Kim also produced Gallagher’s: We Need a Hero and We Can Make a Video Too. For Disney Kim has Executive Produced a series of videos for Walt Disney World Merchandising including - A Day at the Magic Kingdom, A Day at EPCOT Center and The Magic of Christmas at Walt Disney World.

Kim and partner Gary Propper manage the comedian Carrot Top, under the umbrella of Magic whose clients include: David Copperfield, Billy Joel, and Luther Vandross.

Last year Kim oversaw the production of a motion picture project Tarzan® the Epic Adventures for STI Entertainment in association with Keller-Siegel Entertainment. In 1995, he finished production of 65 episodes of the late-night television comedy hit, THE NEWZ, at Universal Studios, distributed by Columbia Pictures Television in 166 US markets.
